Martial Arts Theme To Diversity

Martial arts world champion Clint Cora has renamed his diversity keynote presentation to “Kicking Down Diversity Barriers For Success”. Diversity is a major issue in both the workplace and schools these days. This new title fits well with Clint Cora’s martial arts background as his keynote teaches audiences how to remove barriers as well as how to actually use diversity to enhance their lives.

Martial Arts Weapons Training Outdoors Again

Now that winter is over up here in Canada, at least where I live, I can go out and train with martial arts weapons again without worrying about falling on ice or snow. I really look forward to this activity as it will be a nice replacement for winter skiing which I also love.

Audience Participation With Karate Bo Staff

I’ve been getting volunteer members from my audiences during my motivational keynote talks to come up on stage with me to try out some easy karate bo staff moves. It’s to illustrate a key concept of comfort zone expansion. This part of the talk is always appreciated by the audiences as they get to see one of their own up there with me on stage. I will try to incorporate this segment in all my talks from now on.

Martial Arts Parts of Diversity Program Well Received

I did my first talk in the US yesterday morning in Atlanta as part of a big college conference. My diversity program was very well received and the martial arts parts I included in the talk for entertainment were too. I include a bit of martial arts in all of my talks since it helps brand me as a unique speaker.

Save On Karate Tournament Travel

I use to travel at least once per month to compete in the NASKA sport karate circuit and it was a very expensive activity. With flights, hotels and of course tournament fees, costs to compete can easily reach up to $1000 per tournament.
